The Large Flange system provides captive threads in materials too thin to independently support threads, or where costly tapping operations are to be eliminated. The Large Flange fastener can be used as a rivet to join materials that will ultimately have a separate component attached.

To Set 8-32, 10-24 and 10-32 Large Flange Nutserts, use tool 11805 and conversion kits listed on page 163. Large Flange Nutserts, 1/4”-20, 5/16”-18 and 3/8”-16, require a pneumatic tool for installation. They cannot be set with 11805.
